| Stephen Eurgubian, Owner and Director
Stephen founded the Eurgubian Academic Center in 1991, while studying mathematics at California State University, Fresno. Since then, he has taught math to thousands of students. In addition to his duties, Stephen has worked in conjuction with the College Preparation Partnership Program for the Fresno Unified School District. The SAT, Speed reading, and GOALS programs have been developed by Stephen. These methods are taught to hundreds of students each year.

| Henry Eurgubian, Program Coordinator
Henry is a 1960 graduate of California State University, Fresno, with degrees in Political Science and Speech. He joined his son's Center following a distinguished 31-year teaching career with the Madera Unified School District. A former "Teacher of the Year" award winner, Henry develops and coordinates curricula in various academic subjects.

| Erik North, Senior Instructor
A 1996 graduate of California State University, Fresno, Erik has been our senior instructor for five years. Specializing in math and physics. Erik also works with the SAT Preporatory Program. Prior to joining the Eurgubian Academic Center, Erik was the Assistant Program Director for the Entry Level Math Program for re-entry students at California State University, Fresno.

| Mark Arax, Author and Writing Coordinator
A Pulitzer Prize nominee, Mark is the center's writing coordinator. He has written the notable books In My Father's Name and King of California, and is currently a journalist for the Los Angeles Times. His more than 25 years of experience in writing, editing, and publishing, is invaluable to our students.

| Robert Young, Ph.D., Instructor and Academic Counselor Emeritus
Dr. Young graduated from State University of Iowa, and received his Ph.D. in Education from Stanford University and has been a university professor and counselor for fifty years. Dr. Young developed the speed-reading curriculum at the Eurgubian Academic Center. Dr. Young is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a national fraternity for Business Administrators, and senior consultant for Multi Cultural Training at the Global Executive Resources in San Francisco.

| Alicia Walker, Instructor
Alicia is completing her degree in chemistry at California State University, Fresno. She teaches math and chemistry. A Smittcamp scholar, Alicia is planning a career in medicine.
